Rice Krispie Treats

It’s always fun to take a traditional recipe and make it into a Fall treat! Here are a bunch of ideas for Rice Krispie treats.

The key to coloring Rice Krispies is to add the food coloring to the marshmallows before adding the cereal. Because Rice Krispies are easy to mold, these are all easy to make. I use gloves and I spray them with pam so they dont stick to my hands..

For these, add orange food coloring. Cut into triangles. Dip one end into melted white chocolate and the other end into melted chocolate.

For these, use green food coloring. Cut into rectangles. Dip one end into melted chocolate and then sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles. Attach eyes with a gel frosting and use black frosting to make mouth.

To make the. pumpkins, use orange food coloring. Make balls. Add a rolo on top using frosting to make it stick. Add cut out leaves from green fruit roll outs or any green gummy candy.

Make regular Rice Krispies and cut into squares. Write RIP on Fudge grahams. Melt chocolate and put on top of Rice Krispies and add sprinkles. Stick the RIP cookie into the Rice Krispie.

I did half black and half orange. Topped with candy corn and candy pumpkins. Press in as soon as possible to make them stick.

I had a fun Halloween sprinkle mix that I purchased at Sams Club so I just sprinkled them on top. Press so they stick.

Enjoy and have fun!

I used the recipe from on the Rice Krispie box.
