Here is a quick, yummy, healthy treat to make and keep in your fridge when you need a sweet treat and a little protein.
The beauty of this recipe is you can add to your taste, and its a good way to use up ingredients that you have in your cupboard.
Start with 2 cups of oats, 1/2 cup of nut butter. 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup. Then add in 1/4 cup flax meal and/or 1/4 chia seeds (optional) Then add 1/4 cup of different ingredients – coconut, chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, Rice Krispies. Mix all together. You might need to use your hands to get it totally mixes. Make 1 inch ball and store in fridge or freezer.
